Palmetto Harmony Homemade Peppermint Hot Chocolate
Hot, Hot OH Hot Chocolate!
Is there anything better than curling up on the couch with a blanket, holiday movie, and hot cocoa? No? We agree! It’s holiday season at Palmetto Harmony and we are bringing to you a Homemade Peppermint Hot Chocolate recipe for you and the family!
Ingredients for Homemade Peppermint Hot Chocolate
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1 1/2 cups milk
1/4 cup sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
6 ounces bittersweet chocolate, chopped
1 ML of Palmetto Harmony
3 drops peppermint oil
Sweetened whipped cream, for garnish
Chocolate shavings, for garnish
DIRECTIONS:
First, in a saucepan combine the cream, milk, sugar, salt and heat over medium-low heat. Next, when the cream mixture just begins to steam, add the chopped chocolate and stir until melted. Then, stir in the peppermint oil and the Palmetto Harmony. Finally, divide the hot chocolate among mugs and top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings. Drink and enjoy
