In 2009, my third child Harmony was born. Within six months, a neurologist diagnosed Harmony with a rare genetic condition called Lissencephaly. Also known as “smooth brain,” because the last layer of her brain did not fully develop. This severe brain malformation causes intractable epilepsy. As a result, Harmony’s seizures cannot be controlled with five different anti-epileptic pharmaceuticals. I knew it was imperative that I find an alternative.
Diving into Hemp
From several months of research, I gained valuable information on hemp products. Companes that produced hemp products had mislabeled packing and were not suitable for consumption. My goal was to get a consistently tested and reputable product to my child. Then I decided I would enter into this industry and that I would need the help of parents with special needs children like my own. Thus, Palmetto Harmony was born.
Quality of Life
We pride ourselves in providing a safe and legal hemp product for anyone who needs it. My daughter is now able to have the life that Lissencephaly took away from her by seizures and pharmaceuticals. With Palmetto Harmony you are able to give that quality of life for your child as well.
Pharmaceuticals VS Palmetto Harmony
Below is Harmony’s daily dose of pharmaceuticals. Whereas, the first picture is before Palmetto Harmony and the second is after.
Harmony’s daily dose is laid out for each drug along with her current regiment of durgs. Additionally, Harmony also takes 1 ML of Palmetto Harmony a day. In response, Harmony has come a long way, to a 90% seizure reduction and an 80% reduced medicinal usage. Palmetto Harmony saved my child’s life and brought back hope into our lives.
